Foundry portfolio · Serif · Script · Slab Serif
Gracetypestudio balances a tidy wedding serif against a deliberately odd seasonal display face: Cardelo carries the romantic side, Phantasm Ghost the Halloween side. Twenty-five releases, and the contrast between those two poles is the most interesting thing about the portfolio.

Test the serif with a full address line. Wedding serifs often look perfect in a name and lose their clarity once a postcode and a date sit underneath in the same face.
Wide elegant serif with slashed counters and fine hairlines
Cardelo is a wide elegant serif in which the capitals open generously, the hairlines stay fine and two letters carry a slashed counter, so a single word reads as a modern wordmark rather than as a title.

Dripping horror display with cut faces
Phantasm Ghost is a dripping horror display in cream on a dark scene: heavy rounded caps with long drips running from the baseline, faces cut into the counters of the A and the O, and rounded terminals, so the pair reads as a friendly haunted-house sign rather than a brutal metal logo.

Tall condensed serif with narrow curved bowls and heavy verticals

Narrow traditional serif

Thin display caps with waving crossbars

Slim contemporary geometric sans with architectural cuts
Bielchon is a crisp, light-to-regular modern sans-serif featuring tall x-height, circular bowls, and subtle stencil-like notched joins.

Uneven spooky serif capitals with pointed terminals and wobbly stems

Tall narrow display serif with hairline stems

Very heavy block capitals with slanted slit counters and broad flat arm ends
Exodiah stacks dark red capitals on black, where huge squared bodies leave only fine slanted slits inside O, D and B, the X narrows sharply at its middle, flat-ended E arms and a wide L foot reinforce the block silhouette, and the curved letters keep rounded outer corners.
Fine vintage-style looped calligraphy with tall caps and flowing joins
