Eightde writes romantic slab and gothic serif work in the same shop. Single Lovers is soft and generous, Gothic Halloween points the other way, and the 14 releases show a letterer who likes pointed arches and dense ornaments.
Before you buy from this studio
Dense ornament needs size to breathe. Keep these faces for posters, covers and large decals rather than for small labels.
Monoline signature script
Single Lovers is a monoline signature script in near-black on cream: an even stroke, moderate slant, open loops and a soft bounce, set in two words on one line with a long connecting stroke and a small tracked caption beneath.

Upright capitals with pointed crossbars and small diamond accents
Gothic Halloween shows tall white capitals across a dark cave scene, where the H carries a sharp waist-level crossbar, the O is a narrow oval and fine triangular flares appear at the joins, with bats and sparkles filling the setting around the word.

Modern serif with playful flourishes
Royal Dragon is a modern serif in cream on a dark dragon painting: moderate contrast, sturdy serifs, and flourishes that curl from the g and the l, so the word reads as a friendly editorial face with one decorative move.
Broad bold capitals with triangular A counters and open curved S and G
Dream Savage sets two stacked words in a heavy condensed grotesque, the caps tall and flat-ended, the apertures tight and the two rows in different greens so the pair reads as one mark.

Heavy modern serif with sturdy slabs and a tight, dense fit
Hired is a heavy modern serif in which the stems stay broad, the serifs become sturdy slabs and the fit runs tight, so a single word reads as a bold headline set on a press rather than as a display flourish.

Rounded monoline sans
Modern Spooky is a rounded monoline sans in charcoal on ruled paper: mixed case with circular bowls, a slanted e bar, open apertures and even strokes, framed by faint pink spider webs above and bats beneath, with a plain line at the foot naming the style.
Heavy capitals combining honeycomb openings near the top with small bee silhouettes below
Could Bee punches white rounded capitals out of a honeycomb field, then fills each letter with a smaller honeycomb grid and a few tiny bees so the word looks cut from the hive itself.

Broad clean slabs with rounded bowls and small flared joins
Famous School shows white FAMOUS above yellow SCHOOL on dark charcoal, where the O bowls are broad and rounded, the M carries a deep centre, and short sturdy slab ends give the title a friendly school-sign weight with almost no variation between the two rows.
Heavy upright slab
Sharp Opinion is a heavy upright slab in white on a mottled olive ground: wide capitals with tall rounded bowls, blunt slab feet and a firm even stroke, set in two lines with a small tracked line above and a plain line beneath.
