Black metal logo face with thorn spikes
Vermithor is a black metal display in silver on black: letters broken into spiked, thorn-like strokes that fan out and overlap, framed by a thorn border, with a small serif word beneath and tracked capitals in the corners.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is drawn as a logo rather than a text line, and the face is built for that job: the letters are broken into narrow spiked strokes that fan upward and outward in pairs, the joins are sharp, the tops of the letters break into thorns, and the strokes overlap so much that the word is only partly readable. The texture is a worn silver, and a border of the same thorns frames the whole composition. Below the logo a small serif word is set plainly, which is the honest part of the sheet: it shows that the face is not meant for reading, and that a legible line has to come from a different face. Small tracked capitals name the style in the upper centre and the type name at the foot. Vermithor is a decorative face for music artwork, merchandise, event posters and game titles, and it needs one short word at a large size, a dark ground and a separate face for anything that must be read.

A spiked logo face is the visual language of the genre, and the sheet pairs it with a plain serif for the title that must be read.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm sleeve: set the logo at 90 pt on one line, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the album name at 12 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Fine spikes break at small sizes; keep the logo for the front and set the spine in a plain serif.
A thorns-and-spikes face sets the tone of a night better than any illustration, and the plain line beneath keeps the details readable.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 420 by 594 mm poster: set the logo at 140 pt on one line, keep 36 mm of clear ground beneath before the lineup at 18 pt, and hold 24 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A silver on black print can go grey; proof one sheet and check the contrast under the venue lights.
A logo face prints as a mark on a dark shirt, and the spiked silhouette survives being reduced to a chest-sized graphic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest width: set the logo at 70 mm cap height, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the tour line at 8 mm, and hold 55 mm from each sleeve seam.
Pre-production check
Thin spikes can disappear in a screen print; print one garment and check the tips before the run.
