Foundry portfolio · Decorative · Display
Ardana Creative works decorative display with a dark edge. Nexusbold is heavy and modern, Mortal Reign is dramatic, and the four releases are aimed at gaming, music and poster work.

Dramatic display faces need scale to read. Keep them for large print or cut decals above roughly three inches.
Ultra-tall narrow capitals
Nexusbold is an ultra-tall condensed display in off-white on black: capitals with shared-looking top bars, long rectangular counters and flat terminals, set as one enormous word that fills the whole sheet, surrounded by small technical labels, a barcode and a red badge.
Dragonic thorny black-metal display with flame-like spikes and a winged arch
Mortal Reign is a black-metal display face in which the letters are built from flame-like spikes, the word arches upward at both ends and the thorns interlock between letters, so the mark reads as a winged sigil.

Savage black metal capitals built from spiked, dripping strokes
Rusted Sabbath is a black metal display alphabet in which the stems split into spikes, the counters disappear and the tops of the letters run into flame-like hooks, so a band name reads as a sigil before it reads as words.

Black metal logo face with thorn spikes
Vermithor is a black metal display in silver on black: letters broken into spiked, thorn-like strokes that fan out and overlap, framed by a thorn border, with a small serif word beneath and tracked capitals in the corners.
