Rounded monoline handwritten sans
Simple House is a rounded monoline handwritten sans in near-black on a pale ground: wide geometric letters with fully rounded ends, an open counters and a light bounce that keeps a plain phrase from looking mechanical.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and set large, and the face is a handwritten sans: the S is a wide curve, the i is a bare stem with a round dot, the m and the p are built from round arches, the H and the o are wide and the final e closes with a straight bar, while the stroke stays the same weight everywhere and every end is rounded. Nothing connects, the spacing is open and the x-height is high, so a plain pair of words reads as drawn rather than typed, which is what lets a geometric face feel warm. The ground is a pale photograph of a wooden house with two spruce trees, which places the face in a domestic setting rather than a studio sheet, and two tracked lines name the style. Simple House is a display hand for cards, packaging, labels and signage, and it holds at small sizes because the stroke is generous.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Simple House Font’s stroke geometry.
A soft geometric hand reads at a distance without shouting, and the rounded ends keep a plain sign from feeling institutional.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 450 by 300 mm board: set the greeting at 90 pt over two lines, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 22 pt, and hold 20 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A monoline scaled to a board can look thin; print one at the final size and check the weight from across a lawn before the set.
A rounded sans fits a homemade product without looking rustic, and the heavy monoline survives a small round die with no loss of legibility.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 mm round label: set the flavour at 14 pt on one line, keep 6 mm of clear ground to the die line, and leave 7 mm beneath for the date at 5 pt.
Pre-production check
Wide letters crowd a round die; print one at the real size and check the outer letters before the order.
A friendly sans keeps a menu readable by candlelight, and the open counters mean the face works at ten points without a second typeface.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 200 mm menu: set the heading at 26 pt, set the courses at 10 pt on a 15 pt leading, and hold 14 mm of margin on all four sides of the card.
Pre-production check
A geometric hand in a list can feel repetitive; print one menu at the finished size and check the rhythm before the run.
