Three-style retro reverse-contrast bundle
Noods Soup is a three-style retro bundle in red, yellow and cream: a reverse-contrast display offered as regular, extruded and mono, shown on three soup-can mockups with a menu-style headline and quarter-circle badges, so the sheet reads as a period packaging kit.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The design is built around a reverse-contrast skeleton — thin horizontals, heavy verticals — which is the lettering of mid-century packaging, and the three styles show how one skeleton behaves as a flat fill, as an extruded block and as a mono width for small copy. The cans in the mockup each carry a different cut, which is the honest way to show a bundle: the buyer can see the same face doing three jobs. The palette is limited to red, yellow and cream on a teal ground, which keeps the plate in period, and the badges in the corners state the contents in tiny tracked caps. The menu line above the cans ties the whole composition together with a single headline.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Noods Soup’s stroke geometry.
A reverse-contrast bundle gives a food brand a period look that holds across a label, a box and a shelf talker, and the mono cut covers the small print a display face cannot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 75 by 110 mm label: the product in the regular at 18 pt, the flavour in the mono at 7 pt, and the weight at 6 pt. Keep 5 mm inside the die and print three flat colours on a coated stock.
Pre-production check
Check the 18 pt product on a curved can, where the thin horizontals can break; keep them above 0.3 mm. Confirm the 7 pt mono reads in the chiller and that the extrusion does not fill the counters.
A reverse-contrast display reads as period packaging and stands out against modern posters, and the extruded cut gives a headline depth without a photograph.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 portrait: the event at 120 mm cap height in the extruded cut, the menu in the mono at 12 mm, and the date at 26 mm. Keep 30 mm margins and print three flat colours on a light ground.
Pre-production check
Check the poster at five metres, where the thin horizontals can disappear; thicken them for that scale. Confirm the 12 mm menu reads at two metres and that the date aligns with the headline block.
A period display gives a party banner the look of a vintage advert, and the three cuts let one purchase cover the headline and the small details.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print 800 by 400 mm: the name at 130 mm in the regular cut, the age at 45 mm in the extruded cut, and the date in the mono at 18 mm. Keep 25 mm margins and print three colours on a light ground.
Pre-production check
Check the banner at four metres, where the reverse contrast can look weak; keep the verticals heavy. Confirm the 18 mm date reads at three metres and that the three cuts still read as one family.
