Heavy slanted display with outline
Moonlight is a forward-sloping heavy display in black on white: fat mixed-case letters drawn as a pale face with a bold contour and a black offset shadow, with a round badge at the upper left, a rule above the word and a row of tracked notes at the foot.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word runs wide and the drawing is a heavy display at a forward slant: the letters are fat, the contour is bold and the shadow is a solid offset behind, so the block reads as a cut-out with depth rather than as flat type. Because the shadow is a separate element, it can be recoloured or dropped for a flat version, which is the practical reason a buyer chooses this construction, and the plate shows the pale face against the shadow so the layering is clear. The round badge names the style and the year, the rule above frames the word, and the row of notes at the foot states the case coverage, the languages and the formats. Because the letters are heavy and slanted, the face works at display sizes and on a shirt.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Moonlight’s stroke geometry.
A bold slanted display reads as streetwear, and the built-in outline and shadow let a small brand produce depth without an illustrator.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 22 pt on a tag, 90 mm on a window and 14 pt on a card, keeping the shadow only above 24 pt. Keep two colours and reserve clear space equal to the shadow offset.
Pre-production check
Check the 14 pt card mark, where the contour closes; drop the shadow at that size. Confirm the window mark reads at six metres and that the offset stays even in vinyl.
A slanted display gives an annual a cover that reads as a poster, and the layered construction makes a short title fill the width.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 85 mm cap height across 205 mm, the subtitle in a 10 pt sans, and the year at 8 pt. Print two colours on a light stock with a 4 mm shadow offset.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 85 mm, where the shadow can merge with the letters; keep the offset above 2 mm. Confirm the 8 pt year survives lamination and that the title clears the trim.
A layered display prints as two passes and looks like a proper screen print, which suits a streetwear-style celebration shirt well.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the slogan at 60 mm cap height, the year at 30 mm, and two inks with a 3 mm offset. Keep the contour at 3 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 3 mm contour can fill; thicken it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the offset stays even after five cycles.
Technical & licence verification
Confirm included OTF/TTF/WOFF formats, full glyph tables and licence coverage on the live store page before batch production.
