Very heavy contrast mixed case with narrow slot counters and rounded r terminals
Doviera is a wide display face with thick vertical stems, hairline joins and tight apertures, set here in navy on cream so the contrast does the luxury work without a single ornament.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The name sits on a soft interior scene, a ribbed vase on a fluted mantel with a leaf sprig, and the type is the only graphic element. Letterforms are broad with almost circular bowls, the a keeps a small closed lower bowl, the e has a narrow eye and the stems stay heavy while the connecting strokes thin to a line. Under the name, widely tracked capitals describe the face and a rule with a diamond divides the two lines. Nothing is distressed and nothing is shaded, which is why it holds up in print: the whole effect comes from the ratio between the stems and the hairlines.

The wide contrast gives a small perfume house a mark that reads as expensive on a printed box, and the tight apertures suit a short two-syllable name.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 90 mm box face: set the name at 24 pt on one row, keep 10 mm of clear ground beneath before the volume at 6 pt, and keep 8 mm of margin so the wide bowls are not trimmed.
Pre-production check
Hairlines can drop out of a litho run; check the press proof before the box printing starts.
The heavy stems survive a masthead printed over photography, and the wide proportions fill a cover line that a narrow serif would leave thin.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 by 280 mm cover: set the masthead at 90 pt on one row, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the issue line at 11 pt, and keep 18 mm of margin from the trim.
Pre-production check
Photography behind hairlines needs a scrim; check the cover at full size before the proof is signed.
The wide letterforms give a modern city wedding a formal heading without the usual calligraphy, and the contrast holds on heavy card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 148 by 210 mm invitation: set the names at 34 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and keep 16 mm of margin on each side of the card.
Pre-production check
Fine joins fill on textured stock; check a printed sample on the chosen paper before the suite.
