Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Bronco Slab Font is an ultra-heavy Western rodeo block slab: very thick square stems, slabs as thick as the stems, closed counters and a small notch cut into some letters that reads as a brand mark. The near-solid weight closes the counters first, and the square slabs give a word a foundry weight. It needs roughly 32 mm for the counter and the notch to read, and it is best in one dense ink on sand and cream, or a two-colour build where the slab edge carries a highlight.

An ultra-heavy rodeo slab reads as a branded gate rather than a modern logo, which is what a stock contractor wants at the arena. The heavy stems hold at 90 mm on a gate sign, and one ink prints the gate and the belt patch from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Gate sign 1200 x 600 mm, word 180 mm with 20 mm edge clearance. Belt patch 80 x 40 mm, word 14 mm with 3 mm edge margin. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 14 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 14 mm on a belt patch the counters close and the brand reads as a solid block stitched into leather. Keep the patch at 20 mm or use a lighter cut, and approve one leather sample before the order.
An ultra-heavy slab reads as a printed rodeo bill rather than a social flyer, which is what an autumn event wants on a fence. The thick slabs hold at 130 mm on a poster, and one ink prints the poster, the tickets and the prize cards in a single order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 130 mm with 15 mm slab clearance, details 36 mm, 20 mm margins. Ticket 100 x 50 mm, word 14 mm, 4 mm perforation. Prize card 100 x 70 mm, word 24 mm, 6 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 100 x 50 mm ticket at 14 mm fills the notch and the counters entirely, leaving a black plate. Print tickets at 20 mm or use the lighter cut, and check one ticket before the batch.
An ultra-heavy slab gives a sponsor board the weight of a painted arena sign, which is what a club wants to photograph at the end of a season. The heavy stems hold at 200 mm on a banner, and one ink prints the board and the banner in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 2000 x 600 mm, word 200 mm with 20 mm slab clearance, 40 mm safe edge. Sponsor board 1200 x 800 mm, names 80 mm, 40 mm margins. Card A6, greeting 18 mm, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 200 mm banner letter cut from vinyl leaves a 1 mm counter web and peels at the first wind. Use printed banner stock or widen the counters at 160 mm, and hang one banner before the season.
