Visual anatomy & craft review
Bubble Gloss is an inflated three-dimensional cartoon bubble display: fat rounded letters with a bright highlight running along the top of each stem, a deep inner shade at the bottom and a hard keyline around the whole shape. The highlight and the shade are the design and they merge into a flat fill when the face is reduced. It needs roughly 30 mm for the highlight and the keyline to read, and it is best as a three-colour flat print on coated stock, or two inks where the shade takes a darker tone of the fill.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Bubble Gloss’s stroke geometry.
A glossy bubble display reads as a printed ice-cream board rather than a corporate logo. The highlights hold at 60 mm on a sign, and three flat inks print the sign and the cups in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sign 900 x 600 mm, word 120 mm with 12 mm highlight clearance, items 26 mm, 25 mm margins. Cup print 70 x 50 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm margins. Menu board 600 x 900 mm, items 26 mm, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 70 x 50 mm cup panel at 16 mm fills the highlight into the fill and the name reads as a solid bubble. Raise cup type to 24 mm, and check one printed cup before the order.
A glossy bubble display announces a summer party through the lettering alone. The highlights hold at 44 mm on a topper, and three flat inks print the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 10 mm highlight clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A cup wrap printed across the taper squeezes the highlight at the seam and the word reads as a striped band. Keep the word inside the flat 60 mm centre band, and wrap one cup before the party.
A glossy bubble face reads as a printed sticker rather than a corporate mark, which is what a toy shop wants on its shutter. The keyline holds at 30 mm on a sticker, and three flat inks print the sticker and the decal in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 90 x 60 mm, word 30 mm with 8 mm keyline clearance, 5 mm die margin. Window decal 400 x 200 mm, word 60 mm, 25 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 20 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 90 x 60 mm sticker at 30 mm closes the highlight into the fill and the name reads as a tile. Raise the sticker word to 40 mm, and check one sheet before the run.
