Visual anatomy & craft review
Quantum Sector is a modular cyberpunk techno sans with square jaws, notched crossbars, stencil cut-outs at the corners and integrated arrow accents, so a word reads as a heads-up display panel rather than a headline. The module grid is strict, which lets the face tile across a screen mock-up, and the stencil gaps are what allow it to be cut or sprayed. It needs roughly 34 mm for the notches and arrows to read, and it is best in white and magenta on a near-black ground.

HUD geometry reads as an interface panel, which is what a science-fiction release wants on a cover. The modular grid lets the title sit inside a fake display frame with data read-outs, and one neon ink on black carries the whole cover cheaply.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 210 x 297 mm, title 84 pt, HUD labels 8/11 pt, 18 mm margins and 10 mm trim. Opener 420 x 297 mm, headline 110 mm, body 9/13 pt. Mock-up 1920 x 1080, word 260 px, safe margin 8 percent.
Pre-production check
Stencil notches under 0.5 mm close on a digital press and the title reads as a solid box. Keep the notch at 0.8 mm minimum and check one 1:1 proof before the run.
Modular techno letterforms read as a product interface, which is what a networking brand prints on a carton. The stencil gaps let the mark be pad-printed on a moulded case, and the arrow accents give a short product code direction without a second graphic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Carton 200 x 150 x 80 mm, word 44 mm on the lid, 25 mm margins. Label 60 x 90 mm, word 14 mm, 4 mm die margin. Badge 100 x 140 mm, word 9 mm, name 8 mm, 8 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A pad print on a moulded case bleeds the 0.4 mm stencil gap shut and the mark reads as a plain block. Specify 0.8 mm gaps for pad printing, and inspect one pad-printed sample before the case order.
Cyberpunk modules read as a build weekend, which is what a winter hackathon prints on a stage banner. The grid survives a low-resolution LED screen, and the heavy modules stay legible from the back of a hall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 3000 x 800 mm, word 420 mm, 200 mm margins with eyelets every 600 mm and 60 mm clear. Screen 1920 x 1080, word 420 px, safe area 80 percent. Plate 140 x 40 mm, word 10 mm with 3 mm engraving margin.
Pre-production check
An LED wall at low pixel pitch drops 0.8 mm notches and the title reads as solid blocks, which is worse than at print size. Check the title on the actual screen on the day before the opening, and send a lower-detail version if the notches merge.
