Rounded modern sans
Modern Beloved is a rounded modern sans in near-black on a soft pink field: fat lowercase with fully rounded terminals, a large x-height, short ascenders and tight spacing, set in two lines inside a white rounded panel with sparkles at the sides and a small label beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the drawing is a rounded sans at a chunky weight: the terminals are fully round, the bowls are wide, and the x-height is large, which gives the face its friendly, contemporary tone. The tight spacing lets the pair read as one block, and the white panel behind separates the words from the pink ground and gives the lockup a card-like frame. Because the strokes are thick and the counters open, the face works at label and headline sizes, and the specimen sets it large without a supporting text face. The label beneath is set in the same rounded construction at a fraction of the size, which shows that the family can handle small lines, and the sparkles are the only ornament.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Modern Beloved’s stroke geometry.
A rounded sans reads as friendly and current, and the open counters keep a brand name legible at the small size a jar label allows.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 80 mm label: the brand at 15 pt, the product in a 7 pt sans, and the weight at 6 pt. Keep 4 mm inside the die and print two colours on a white stock so the rounded terminals stay clean.
Pre-production check
Check the 15 pt brand, where a tight spacing can close a gap; open the tracking slightly. Confirm the 6 pt weight reads on the shelf and that the label sits flat on a curved jar.
A rounded sans sets a warm tone without a script, and the large x-height keeps the greeting readable at card size even when the card is printed at home on a modest printer.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 30 pt, the details in a 9 pt sans, and two sparkles. Keep 12 mm margins and print two colours on a white card so the rounded shapes stay crisp.
Pre-production check
Check the 30 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where a tight counter can fill; keep the counters above 2 mm. Confirm the 9 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the sparkles clear the trim.
A rounded sans reads as approachable for a school notice, and the large x-height keeps a long line scannable across a corridor wall seen from several metres away.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A4 print: the heading at 40 mm, the times in a 10 mm sans, and the rooms in 9 mm. Keep 20 mm margins and print one colour on white so the notice photocopies cleanly.
Pre-production check
Check the A4 at two metres, where a chunky weight can look heavy; keep the leading generous. Confirm the 9 mm rooms read at arm's length and that the heading fits on one line.
