Bold modern geometric sans
Olline is a bold geometric sans in red on black: circular counters, a heavy even stroke, a lowercase with a straight-sided o and a dot that floats away from the i, presented at extreme size with small tracked captions in the corners, so the plate reads as a contemporary identity study.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set once and cropped by the frame, which is a deliberate move that shows the letterforms at a scale where the geometry is the subject: the o is a near circle, the l and the i are plain verticals, and the terminals are cut flat, so the word reads as a modern retail mark. The dot on the i is displaced, which is the one playful gesture in an otherwise strict alphabet, and it gives the mark a signature that survives at small sizes. Spacing is tight, which lets the word run past the trim without feeling cramped. The palette is a single red on black, and the four small captions in the corners are set in tracked caps at a fraction of the size, which is the way a contemporary specimen sheet presents a single weight.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Olline’s stroke geometry.
A geometric red mark reads as confident and contemporary, and the displaced dot gives a small studio a recognisable quirk that survives on a card and a website alike.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 40 pt on a card, 18 pt on a website header and 90 mm wide on a window. Keep one colour and reserve clear space equal to the o's counter on every side so the dot never crowds its neighbour.
Pre-production check
Check the 18 pt header, where the displaced dot can read as a mistake; keep the mark above 14 pt online. Confirm the window mark reads from across the street and that the red holds on an uncoated board.
A bold geometric masthead fills the top of a cover without an ornament, and the circular counters stay open at large sizes where a condensed face would clot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the masthead at 120 mm cap height cropped by the trim, the cover lines in an 8 pt grotesque, and the issue at 7 pt. Keep the masthead on a flat ground and put the cover lines in the lower third.
Pre-production check
Check the crop at the trim, where a counter can be cut through the middle; shift the lockup so no letter is halved. Confirm the cover lines read at newsstand distance and that the masthead survives a thumbnail crop.
A bold geometric face gives a festival poster the look of a design object, and the single colour keeps a large print run cheap while the geometry carries the identity.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 portrait: the name at 180 mm cap height, the programme in a 9 mm grotesque, and the dates at 30 mm. Keep 25 mm margins and let the word crop on one side so the composition has an edge.
Pre-production check
Check the crop at 180 mm, where the trim can cut a letter in half and make it unreadable; keep two letters whole. Confirm the 9 mm programme reads at two metres and that the dates sit on a single baseline.
