Chunky upright brush-pen script with a heavy even stroke and open counters
Sweet Pumpkin is a chunky upright brush-pen script in which the letters stay vertical, the stroke is heavy and even, and the counters remain open enough to read at small sizes.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital S opens as a broad crescent and the second word's capital P rises into a short stem, and the letters between them keep a fat, upright construction: the w and the e close loose bowls, the t is crossed low with a short bar, the p drops a straight descender and the u and the m hold wide even arches. Unlike a slanted brush script, nothing leans, which makes the phrase read as written on a card rather than painted on a board. Weight is heavy and constant with rounded ends, and the counters stay open because the letters are drawn wide rather than crowded. The pale ground and the single serif caption are presentation; the script is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Sweet Pumpkin’s stroke geometry.
The upright chunky hand fills a card with two words and stays legible at 26 pt where a slanted brush script would start to clot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 26 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, set the sender in a 7 pt sans at the foot, and leave 14 mm of margin so the heavy strokes stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A heavy upright stroke on textured card fills its counters; print one card on the actual stock and open the e and a if the ink spreads.
The heavy upright script suits a seasonal product and holds up on a curved jar or bottle label at 13 pt, which is where a light script fails.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the product at 13 pt on a 50 by 70 mm label, keep the weight or price in a 6 pt sans, and leave 5 mm of margin so the rounded ends stay inside the label edge.
Pre-production check
Labels on chilled items sweat and lift; check one applied label after a day and move the type away from the lid rim.
The chunky script reads clearly at tag size, and the upright construction keeps a short thanks legible at 14 pt on a narrow strip of card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 14 pt on a 35 by 70 mm preserve tag, keep the sender in a 6 pt sans beneath, and leave a clear 10 mm band at the top of the tag for the punched hole.
Pre-production check
A heavy stroke close to the punch leaves a weak edge; check the artwork against the hole and move the line down before printing the sheet.
