Visual anatomy & craft review
Fiethori is a duo built for streetwear: an ultra-heavy condensed block sans with soft corners, and a fast slanted brush script with overlapping strokes, both multilingual and ligature-rich. The block sans is the anchor and the script is the voice, so a layout sets a name in the script over a solid block band and the pair reads as a single graphic. The block needs roughly 40 mm for its soft corners to read, and the script needs 20 mm before the overlaps look deliberate rather than messy.

A block band behind a brush script gives a small brand a full graphic with two faces, which is what a streetwear drop needs from one file set. Soft corners keep the block from looking like a stencil.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Chest print 280 x 180 mm, script 90 mm over a 40 mm block band, 40 mm margins. Drop card 105 x 148 mm, script 40 mm, details 7/10 pt. Hoodie back 320 x 400 mm, script 140 mm.
Pre-production check
Soft corners under 2 mm round off in a plastisol print and the block looks hand-cut. Keep the corner radius at 2.5 mm at delivery size, and check one printed sample before the drop.
A heavy block plus a fast script gives an urban wedding a suite with contrast without a serif. The script carries names and the block carries the date.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 120 x 180 mm, names 26 mm in script, block date band 60 x 20 mm, 15 mm margins. Sign 600 x 900 mm, names 90 mm. Tag 45 x 80 mm, names 8 mm, hole 5 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A block band behind script text on an invitation reduces legibility if the value contrast is low. Check one proof in greyscale, and reverse the band to a tint if the script disappears.
The duo reads as a printed street poster, which is what a release cover wants without a commissioned design. Two faces cover a title and a date block in one system.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sleeve 312 x 312 mm plus 3 mm bleed, script 180 mm, block band 60 mm, credits 7 pt. Poster A2, script 300 mm, date block 90 mm. Zine A5, header 60 mm, body 8.5/12 pt.
Pre-production check
A busy two-face layout at 312 mm can misregister on a two-colour press, and the script drifts off the band. Design a deliberate 0.5 mm trap, or set both faces in one ink and use the band as a tint.
