Heavy high-contrast script with very long descenders and narrow loops
Brittany Signature is a heavy high-contrast script in which the ascenders and descenders run far beyond the letter body, the loops stay narrow and the joins thin to hairline between thick stems.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital B opens with an oval loop that begins below the baseline and rises above the cap line, and every letter after it keeps a narrow body: the r and the i hold slim stems, the double t is crossed by one long bar, the a closes tightly and the y drops a descender that runs almost to the bottom of the specimen. Weight is heavy on the downstrokes and hairline on the joins, and the long verticals mean the face needs generous line spacing in any stack. The composition is tall rather than wide, which suits a portrait format or a vertically cropped photograph. Ends taper to points. The eucalyptus leaves, the pale ground and the two small recorded lines beneath are presentation; the script is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Brittany Signature’s stroke geometry.
The long ascenders and descenders fill a tall card, and the heavy contrast keeps a pair of names legible at 30 pt even with the narrow bodies.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set both names at 30 pt on a 105 by 190 mm card, set the details in a small caps serif at 8 pt, and hold 24 mm between the name lines so the tall tails do not collide.
Pre-production check
Two stacked name lines with long descenders will touch; check the proof at final size and increase the gap rather than shortening the tails.
The tall silhouette gives a mark presence on a portrait print, and the heavy stems keep it readable when it is set over an image at 18 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the studio name at 18 pt on a 105 by 148 mm print margin, set the contact line in a 6 pt sans, and leave 15 mm of clear image beneath the longest descender.
Pre-production check
Thin joins over a busy image break up; check the proof and place the mark on the calm part of the frame rather than thickening the script.
The narrow contrast survives a die cut at 11 pt, and the tall loops give a small tag a vertical rhythm that a round script cannot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 11 pt on a 35 by 75 mm tag, keep both names in a 5 pt sans beneath it, and leave a clear 10 mm band at the top for the punched hole.
Pre-production check
A descender crossing the punch leaves a weak edge; check the artwork against the hole and shorten the tail before printing the sheet.
