Visual anatomy & craft review
Fall Thankfully is a duo of a monoline tail script and a bouncy all-caps sans: the script runs an even stroke that finishes every word with a long lifted tail, while the sans is a chunky capital set whose baseline hops so a short line looks hand-set. The pair is built for autumn market goods, where one line is written and one is printed. The script tail is the finest element and it closes into a dot when reduced. The script needs roughly 28 mm and the sans 24 mm for their detail to read.

A tailed script with a bouncy capital set gives an autumn stall the look of hand-written goods rather than printed labels. The tail holds at 28 mm on a tag, and one warm ink prints the tag and the sign in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Tag 50 x 90 mm, script 16 mm with 10 mm tail clearance, 3 mm hole clearance and 4 mm to the trim. Sign 900 x 600 mm, script 90 mm, 25 mm margins. Bag print 200 x 120 mm, sans 40 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 50 x 90 mm tag the tail runs into the punch hole and the tag tears when hung. Keep the hole 12 mm clear of the tail, and punch one tag before the batch.
A hand-written pair makes a birthday look made rather than bought. The script holds at 44 mm on a topper, and one vinyl colour covers the topper and the invite print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, script 40 mm with 10 mm tail clearance, sans 20 mm, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, sans 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, script 18 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A 200 x 90 mm wrap printed across the cup taper squeezes the script tail and it doubles at the seam. Keep the word inside the flat 60 mm centre band, and wrap one cup before the party.
A bouncy capital set with a written script reads as a teacher's own autumn display rather than a printed notice. The sans holds at 140 mm on a display, and two inks print the display and the stickers in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Display 1200 x 400 mm, sans 160 mm with 12 mm corner clearance, 20 mm margins. Name card 105 x 75 mm, script 20 mm, 5 mm margins. Reward sticker 50 mm round, sans 12 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
At 12 mm on a 50 mm sticker the bouncy baseline collapses and the word reads as a wavy disc. Raise the sticker word to 18 mm, and print one sheet before the run.
