Visual anatomy & craft review
Chunky Stitch is a playful chunky block face with dashed interior stitch lines: fat squared letters with rounded corners, a dashed running stitch following each stem inside the shape and a small thread knot at the corners, drawn so the word reads as sewn fabric. The stitch pitch is the design and it merges into a solid line once the face is reduced. It needs roughly 28 mm for the stitch pitch and the block edge to read, and it is best as a one-colour vinyl cut or a two-colour print where the stitch takes the lighter ink.

A stitched block face reads as a sewn label rather than a corporate logo, which is what a textile maker wants on a tag. The stitch pitch holds at 30 mm on a label, and two inks print the label and the cards in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 90 x 60 mm, word 30 mm with 8 mm stitch clearance, 5 mm die margin. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 26 mm, 5 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, word 22 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 90 x 60 mm woven label at 30 mm merges the stitch pitch into a solid line. Keep woven labels at 36 mm or above, and check one sample before the run.
A stitched block turns a craft feature into its own sewn headline. The stitches hold at 44 pt on a coated page, and two inks keep the dashes separate from the block.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Header 44 pt with 8 mm stitch clearance, body 9/13 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins and a 12 mm head. Opener 36 pt with 10 mm of clear ground beside the image. Pull quote 32 pt with 8 mm above and 8 mm below.
Pre-production check
At 32 pt on the pull quote the dashes fill into a solid line and the quote reads as a bar. Keep the face at 40 pt and above, and proof one spread at 1:1.
A stitched block announces a craft-themed party through the lettering alone. The stitches hold at 44 mm on a topper, and two inks print the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 10 mm stitch clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm topper cut along the stitch dashes leaves dashes as loose pieces that peel. Cut toppers to the outer silhouette, and test one before the party.
