of Blovanta.

Blovanta is a weathered woodblock Western saloon display serif: heavy unbracketed slabs with chipped edges, a slightly uneven baseline that mimics hand-set timber type and a surface where the ink coverage breaks into patches as if the block had worn. The chips are the design and they silt when the face is reversed or printed small. It needs roughly 30 mm for the chip and the slab to read, and it is best in one dense ink on uncoated stock, or a single ink with a slight deboss where the block edge catches light.
