Light monoline geometric sans
Miniplate is a light monoline sans in black on a pale textured ground: tall capitals with rounded stroke ends, open angular diagonals and wide proportions, set as one word with a small tracked line above and a two-line tracked block beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word spans the sheet and the drawing is a monoline sans: the stroke is even and light, the ends are rounded, and the diagonals of the M, N and A stay open, which keeps a wide light capital legible. That construction sets a size floor, because a light rounded stroke fades at small sizes on uncoated stock, and the plate sets the word large enough that the roundness shows. The pale ground with a soft shadow is staging rather than a subject. The tracked line above and the block beneath are plain caps, which keeps the sheet from reading as an advert. Because the letters are light and wide, the face suits a wordmark, a cover and a menu header, and it suits a screen better than small print.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Miniplate’s stroke geometry.
A light monoline sans gives a practice a mark that reads as drawn rather than typeset, and the wide proportions hold a long surname.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 16 pt on a card, 95 mm on a wall and 11 pt in a footer, keeping the rounded ends unmodified. Keep one colour and clear space equal to the cap height.
Pre-production check
Check the 11 pt footer on uncoated paper, where a light stroke can fill; keep the size above 12 pt. Confirm the wall mark reads at eight metres and that the diagonals stay open.
A light monoline title gives a catalogue restraint, and the open diagonals keep a long word from looking crowded. Restraint is the whole point of the cover.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 70 mm cap height across 200 mm with wide tracking, the venue in a 9 pt sans, and the dates at 8 pt. Print one ink on a matte stock. Proof it at final size first.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 70 mm, where a light stroke can fill on a matte sheet; keep it above 0.35 mm. Confirm the 8 pt dates survive and that the tracking stays even across the line.
A light monoline face keeps a modern wedding sign calm, and the wide letters fill a board with one greeting. A modern wedding reads better in light type than in ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A1 board: the greeting at 80 mm cap height, the names at 38 mm, and the date at 18 mm. Keep 35 mm margins and paint one colour on a pale board. Leave 30 mm at the foot for the date.
Pre-production check
Check the board at five metres, where a light stroke can fade in daylight; keep the weight up. Confirm the 18 mm date reads from the door and that the names clear the border.
