Slice-shaped lettering set
Watermelon is a decorative novelty face in which each letter sits inside a watermelon slice: pastel rinds and pink flesh with small seeds, a two-line arrangement, a ribbon tag at the top left noting two styles, and two illustrated melons at the foot with a tracked line between them.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
This is a display product rather than a text face, and the plate is honest about it: every letter is drawn as a slice, so the alphabet becomes a set of objects, and the two styles — regular and outline — are named on the tag at the top left. The slices carry seeds and a rind, and the colours alternate across the words, which is what makes the block read as a party design. Because each letter occupies a whole shape, the face needs generous spacing and a large size, and the specimen sets it across two lines with illustrated melons at the foot. The tracked line between the melons names the category, and the palette is four pastels on cream, which keeps the plate sweet rather than loud.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Watermelon’s stroke geometry.
A slice-shaped alphabet sets a summer theme with objects instead of type alone, and the outline style keeps a home print from flooding with colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 30 pt in the outline style, the details in a 9 pt sans, and two small melons. Keep 14 mm margins so the slices never touch the trim, and print three colours.
Pre-production check
Check the 30 pt greeting, where the seeds can close at 300 dpi; keep them above 1 mm. Confirm the 9 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the slices clear the trim by 6 mm.
Each slice is a ready-made sticker shape, and the regular style reads at 40 mm where a busier illustrated face would clot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Die-cut 45 mm stickers: one letter per sticker at 32 mm, a 1.5 mm contour, and 2 mm clear to the die. Keep the rind at least 3 mm wide and print four colours on white vinyl.
Pre-production check
Check the die cut at 45 mm, where a thin rind can snap; widen it. Confirm the stickers peel cleanly and that the seeds stay registered across the sheet.
A novelty label draws children to a counter, and the outline style keeps the artwork readable when a small shop prints at home.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 mm round label: the flavour at 12 pt spelled in slices, the price in a 6 pt sans, and one whole melon. Keep 4 mm inside the die and print three colours on a white stock.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt slices, where the seeds can disappear at laminating size; keep them above 0.8 mm. Confirm the price reads at arm's length and that the label sits flat on a cup.
