Storybook mixed case with pointed soft serifs and uneven heights
Storybook is a mixed-case display in which the letters stand upright with gently pointed serif ends, the heights shift slightly and the o counters narrow into leaf shapes, so a title reads as hand-carved lettering for a children's tale.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The S turns a soft spine with pointed terminals, the o pinches its counter into a leaf, the y drops a short rounded descent and the capitals sit only a little above the lowercase, so a word stays even in tone. The pointed soft serif is the character: it suggests a carved edge without any distress, which is why the sample sets one title on a wooden sign. Because the points are soft, the face holds from 26 pt and cuts from three quarters of an inch of cap height; the uneven heights mean a long line reads best at 30 pt and above. The woodland characters and the castle behind the sign are artwork; the cream lettered title is the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Storybook’s stroke geometry.
The carved lettering suits a themed party, and the soft points stay clear at 60 mm on a printed board in two flat inks on board stock.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 400 by 250 mm board: set the title at 60 mm, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath for the name line, and keep 25 mm of border so the points stay inside.
Pre-production check
Pointed serifs printed at the board edge look chipped; check the mounted sign and keep 20 mm of margin.
The friendly display reads at child height, and the upright forms stay legible at 44 mm on a laminated sign by a bookshelf.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 sign: set the words at 44 mm, keep 18 mm of border all round, and laminate with a matte pouch so the soft serifs do not mirror the lights.
Pre-production check
A glossy laminate over soft points throws glare; check the finished sign from three metres and switch to matte film.
The warm display suits a section head, and the even heights keep a three-word title readable at 28 pt above the story text.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 mm column: set the section head at 28 pt, set the author line at 10 pt in a serif beneath, and keep 12 mm of clear ground above the first paragraph.
Pre-production check
A display face set at 20 pt in a column loses its points; check the proof and keep the section head at 26 pt or above.
