Thorn-spiked black-metal display
Soulcrave is a white black-metal display over a dark mirrored photograph: thorn-like letterforms with long spikes at the terminals, ragged drips below the shapes, mirrored halves and near-symmetrical composition, set as one word with a small presenting line above and two badges at the foot.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is an extreme specimen, and it is honest about its territory: the letters are constructed from spikes and drips rather than strokes, the composition is mirrored so the word reads as an emblem rather than a line of text, and the badges name the style and the studio. That construction sets a very large size floor, because the spikes and the drips close into a mass first, and the face is legible only at a poster scale. The badges and the presenting line are product copy. It suits an album cover, a shirt and a poster for an extreme metal subject, and a buyer should treat it as a mark rather than as type.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Soulcrave’s stroke geometry.
A thorn display reads as an emblem, and the mirrored composition suits a sleeve where the title is a mark rather than a line.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 100 mm tall across 190 mm, the band in a 10 pt sans, and the label at 8 pt. Print two colours on a coated stock and keep 18 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Check the mark at 100 mm, where a spike can merge with the next; keep 2 mm of gap. Confirm the 8 pt label survives lamination and that the drips clear the trim.
A thorn display prints as club kit, and the white holds on a dark shirt where a detailed face would clot in the screen. It reads as club kit.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 260 mm chest graphic: the mark at 70 mm tall, the year at 20 mm, and one ink on a dark shirt. Keep the smallest spike at 3 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 3 mm spike can fill; widen it to 4 mm. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the drips stay separate after five cycles.
A thorn display holds a poster, and the spikes read at distance where a normal gothic would look ordinary. It holds a poster wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the mark at 140 mm tall, the line-up in an 18 mm sans, and the venue at 11 mm. Keep 26 mm margins, print two colours on a dark stock and keep the spikes above 3 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where a spike vanishes; keep it above 3 mm. Confirm the 11 mm venue reads at two metres and that the drips clear the frame.
