Angular blackletter display
Raquens is a tall angular blackletter in coral red on black: capitals with sharp joins, diamond-like ends on the strokes and narrow bodies, set as one large word above a framed black-and-white illustration of a skull, with a thin orange band along the foot that carries the credit.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is a poster in two bands: the type on black above and a framed illustration below, and the frame keeps the two registers apart. The drawing is an angular blackletter with diamond ends, so the letters read as cut shapes rather than as writing, and the narrow bodies let a seven-letter word span the width. That construction sets a moderate size floor, because the diamond ends close first. The line above the type names the style in tracked caps, and the band along the foot carries the credit, so the sheet is honest about what the buyer is looking at. It suits a record sleeve, a poster and a shirt, and the coral on black is a pairing that holds at distance.

An angular blackletter reads as a metal bill, and the coral on black holds at street distance where a thin gothic would vanish.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A1 poster: the bill at 200 mm cap height, the acts in a 22 mm blackletter, and the venue at 12 mm. Keep 30 mm margins and print two colours on a dark stock.
Pre-production check
Check the A1 at six metres, where a diamond end can vanish; keep it above 3 mm. Confirm the 12 mm venue reads at two metres and that the bill clears the illustration frame.
An angular display prints as merch, and the narrow bodies fit a long band name across a back print. The narrow bodies fill a back print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm back graphic: the band at 70 mm cap height, the album at 22 mm, and two inks on a dark shirt. Keep the narrowest join at 4 mm and place the graphic 120 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 4 mm join can fill; open it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the diamonds stay sharp after five cycles.
An angular label reads as a strong flavour, and the heavy strokes hold on a small die where a fine blackletter would fail.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 80 mm label: the brand at 12 pt, the heat level at 8 pt, and two colours on a coated stock. Keep 4 mm inside the die and keep the joins above 0.6 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt brand on a small die, where a join can fill; keep it above 0.6 mm. Confirm the 8 pt heat level reads at arm's length and that the label wipes clean.
