Spiked gothic display with gradient fill
Rex Kurode is a decorative display face in gradient and white on a dark brick wall: sharp gothic letters with thorn-like terminals, split stems and a wide set, mixed with star sparkles and small tracked capital lines.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Two words are set on separate lines at very different treatments: the first carries a warm gradient from gold to pink, the second is white with a thin keyline, and both share the same construction. The letters are gothic in structure, with a heavy vertical stem, a hairline on the left and diamond points at the ends, but the terminals are pulled into long thorns and the stems split into forked shapes at the top and the bottom, so the face reads as a modern metal logo rather than a medieval text face. The counters are narrow slots and the letters are spaced widely, which is what keeps a spiky face legible at a distance. Around the block four-point stars sparkle at the corners, and three blocks of small tracked capitals name the product and the studio on a black brick wall in soft light. Rex Kurode is a decorative face for music artwork, apparel, posters and game titles, and it needs one or two short words at a large size on a dark ground.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Rex Kurode’s stroke geometry.
A spiked gothic face carries the genre before the band name is read, and the extreme contrast reproduces well at the size of a sleeve.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm sleeve: set the band name at 90 pt over two lines, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the title at 14 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thorn terminals can close up at sleeve size; proof one sleeve flat and check the sharpest points before approving.
A sharp display mark reads as a logo on a dark shirt, and the wide spacing keeps the spikes from turning into a texture at a small print size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: set the name at 70 mm cap height, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the tagline at 10 mm, and hold 55 mm from each sleeve seam.
Pre-production check
A fine gradient cannot be screen printed cleanly; convert one proof to spot colours before the garment order.
A spiked face sets the tone of a late show, and the dark ground with the gradient block reads from across a street at night.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 420 by 594 mm poster: set the title at 110 pt over two lines, keep 36 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 24 pt, and hold 26 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thin strokes on a dark poster will drop out under street lighting; proof one sheet and view it at night before the run.
