Blocky pixel game display
Minecraft is a blocky pixel display in white on a blue pixel field: square letters built from a coarse grid, stepped diagonals, blocky counters and a slight drop shadow, so the word reads as a title screen from a sandbox game rather than as a bitmap revival.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set once and the drawing is a grid: every letter is assembled from a small number of square modules, the diagonals step in single blocks, and the counters are one or two modules wide, which is what keeps the face readable at a distance. The shadow is a single block offset down and right, which gives the letters depth without a gradient, and the white is flat so the shape carries the character. Because the module is large, the face needs a big size and a clean ground, and the specimen supplies a blue field of floating pixel squares that recede behind the word. No second typeface appears, which is honest for a display face that would be unreadable at paragraph size, and the plate is composed so the word sits on the optical centre.

A blocky pixel face names the theme in one word, and the coarse module means the invitation prints cleanly at card size where a fine bitmap would smear.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the phrase at 34 pt, the details in a 9 pt geometric sans, and a one-block shadow. Keep the palette to three colours on a dark ground so the white blocks stay crisp on a home printer.
Pre-production check
Check the 34 pt phrase on a home printer, where a stepped diagonal can smear; keep the module at a whole pixel in the export. Confirm the 9 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the shadow does not merge with the letters.
A pixel face signals technology to students without a circuit-board cliché, and the block construction reads across a hall where a fine display would vanish.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print 1,000 by 500 mm: the club name at 150 mm cap height, the meeting times in a 30 mm geometric sans, and one shadow block. Keep the module large enough that the steps stay sharp at the printer's resolution.
Pre-production check
Check the banner at six metres, where an inconsistent module reads as a rendering fault; keep the grid even. Confirm the 30 mm times read at four metres and that the shadow clears the letter beneath it.
A pixel mark gives a game shop a digital identity that still reads on a small sticker, and the flat colours keep a short run cheap to print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Die-cut a 55 mm sticker: the brand at 16 pt, the tagline in a 6 pt sans, and 2 mm clear to the die. Keep the module at least 2 mm so the blocks survive the cut and print two colours.
Pre-production check
Check the 55 mm sticker, where a one-module counter can close; increase the module for that size. Confirm the die line clears the shadow by 2 mm and that the sticker reads on both light and dark surfaces.
