Sport slab with colour accent
Lancero is a sport slab in white with one orange letter on a navy sports photograph: heavy caps with block serifs, a high waist and closed counters, set in one line with a small tracked note at the top left listing the styles and a rule beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set once, wide, and one letter is picked out in a second colour, which is a common sports treatment and shows that the face holds a colour break inside a word. The drawing is a college slab: the serifs are blocks, the strokes are heavy, and the counters are narrow, which keeps the letters readable at a distance on a photograph. The tracked note at the top left lists the regular, the italic and the language support in a small grotesque, which is the practical information a buyer needs. The palette is white and orange on navy, and the photograph behind is dark enough that the white type stays the strongest element.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Lancero’s stroke geometry.
A sport slab keeps names and numbers readable at a distance, and the colour break lets a coach mark one position without a second typeface.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 team sheet: the names in white at 40 mm, the numbers at 55 mm in the accent colour, and the fixture in a 12 mm sans. Keep 25 mm margins and print two colours on a dark sheet.
Pre-production check
Check the 40 mm names at three metres, where closed counters can fill; keep the aperture open. Confirm the 12 mm fixture reads at arm's length and that the accent stays registered.
A sport slab gives a club a mark that reads as kit, and the block construction holds in embroidery where a fine serif would disappear.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 60 mm on a pennant, 25 mm on a patch and 12 mm on a card, keeping the accent only above 30 mm. Keep clear space equal to half the cap height on every side.
Pre-production check
Check the 25 mm patch, where the narrow counters can close in stitch; use a lighter weight. Confirm the card mark reads at arm's length and that the accent colour suits the substrate.
A sport slab frames an athletic subject in a single word, and the colour break gives the cover a focal point without an illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 220 mm, the subtitle in a 12 pt slab, and the season at 9 pt. Print two colours on a dark ground and pick out one letter in the accent.
Pre-production check
Check the title at thumbnail size, where the accent letter can look like an error; keep the colour contrast deliberate. Confirm the 9 pt season survives lamination and that the title clears the trim.
