Solid athletic blocks with clipped bowls
Varsity Sport Army is a solid athletic block in black on white: wide slab-serifed capitals with clipped corners, a flat top and foot, and squared counters, shown as an alphabet specimen above the word Baseball.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
ABCD fills the card in four capitals, and each letter is a heavy block with a deliberate cut: the outer corners of the A and the D are clipped at forty-five degrees, the B and the C carry blunt slab serifs, and the counters are squared so that the B's two bowls read as rectangles. The weight is very heavy and the spacing is tight, which is what makes the row lock together as a wordmark. Baseball sits beneath in a smaller cut of the same family, and two captions above name the file formats and the included vector extras, with a small studio badge at the lower left. The face is an athletic block for jerseys, pennants and signs: the clipped corners are the signature detail, and they mean the wordmark has to be scaled as a whole rather than letter by letter.

The clipped corners and the squared counters are what a modern athletic wordmark looks like, and the weight survives one-colour printing on mesh.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 280 by 130 mm chest print: set the team name at 82 pt on one row, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the number at 56 pt, and hold 18 mm from the widest letter to the print edge.
Pre-production check
Clipped corners fill in on a coarse screen mesh; print one pull on the actual shirt and check the A before the run.
The block reads from a car park, and a single black on a light board is a realistic budget for a school ground that repaints its signage rarely.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 500 mm board: set the school name at 160 pt on one row, keep 30 mm of clear ground beneath before the ground name at 26 pt, and hold 28 mm of border on all sides.
Pre-production check
Very heavy letters on a large board look like a bar from a distance; print one at the final size and check the counters before the set.
A pennant is a triangular format that needs a short, heavy word, and this block fits one inside the point without distortion.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 450 by 200 mm pennant: set the team name at 74 pt on one row, keep 16 mm of clear ground beneath before the year at 20 pt, and hold 16 mm from the last letter to the pennant point.
Pre-production check
The point of a pennant clips the final letter; print one at the final size and check the layout before the order.
