Outlined angular display with bridge cuts and heavy contours
Kenzhuro is an angular display alphabet in which every stroke is a heavy outline with bridge cuts at the joints, so a word reads as a brushed sign where the interior of each stroke stays open.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The K breaks two thick diagonals into outlined bands, the E sets three arms with cut joints, the N keeps two angled stems with a bridge, the Z turns sharp corners and the H carries a cut bar, all at a heavy weight drawn as an outline with square terminals and gaps at the junctions. The bridge cuts are the character: they keep the outline continuous while the letter stays open, which is why the sample sets one word over a painted circle. Because the contour is thick, the face holds from 30 pt and cuts cleanly in vinyl for a window. The red circle, the bamboo drawings, the small badges and the caption are presentation; the outlined display word is the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Kenzhuro’s stroke geometry.
The bridge cuts let a window graphic stay one piece, and the heavy contour reads from the pavement at 80 mm cut from vinyl.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 700 by 250 mm decal: set the word at 80 mm, keep the contour at 6 mm of vinyl, and keep every bridge at 4 mm so the weeding holds the outline together.
Pre-production check
A bridge under 3 mm tears during weeding; check the cut file and widen the bridge rather than the letters.
The angular shapes give a club poster a graphic edge, and the outlined letters read at 60 mm on a printed sheet in two inks.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 poster: set the headline at 60 mm in outline, set the schedule in a 14 pt sans beneath, and keep 25 mm of border so the outline stays complete at the edges.
Pre-production check
An outline printed to the sheet edge gets cut by the trim; check the imposed poster and keep 20 mm of ground all round.
The bridge cuts read as a sticker with an inner line, and the heavy contour holds its shape at 35 mm on a round die cut in vinyl.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 mm round sticker: set the word at 35 mm, keep the contour at 3 mm of ink all the way round, and leave 5 mm inside the die so every bridge stays whole.
Pre-production check
A die cut through a bridge separates the letter; check the sticker sheet and keep every bridge 4 mm inside the die.
