of Honey Rainbow.

Honey Rainbow is a tall cartoon display in which every letter wears a rainbow-sticker treatment: a fat rounded shape with a white keyline, a second coloured outline behind it and a small highlight dash inside the stroke, with solid and outlined variants. The keyline and the coloured outline share the silhouette, so the word box grows on all sides. It needs roughly 30 mm for the keyline and the highlight to read, and it is best in three bright inks on white, or one ink plus bare paper for the keyline on coloured card.

A rainbow-sticker display reads as party merchandise rather than a typeset invitation, which is what a young child's birthday sends. The keyline gives the word its sticker edge at 38 mm, and two bright inks print the invite and the garland sign from one artwork.

Pre-production check

A 130 mm laser-cut topper drops the 0.8 mm highlight dash under 0.5 mm and it falls out, leaving a hole in the letter. Cut toppers from the plain solid variant, and test one on a stick before the set.

A rainbow-sticker display is the lettering an ice-cream van already paints on its side, so a livery in it reads as trade rather than advertising. The keyline holds at 200 mm from across a car park, and two inks print the menu board and the cup wraps in a single pass.
