Heroes Patriotic is a tall heavy condensed sans built for athletic headlines and posters: exaggerated vertical stems, a flat apex on the A and M, tight counters and a uniform block weight with no serifs at all. The condensation packs a long team or event name into a single line across a shirt or a banner, and the tight counters are the part that fails first when the face shrinks or is embroidered. It needs roughly 28 mm for the counters to stay open, and it is best in one bold ink on white or in a two-colour block where the name sits inside a solid field.
