Visual anatomy & craft review
Raxone is a heavy condensed athletic sans with subtle architectural notches at the waist of the R, a, x and n, flat-sided stems and a tall x-height, so a word reads as court-side kit lettering rather than a modern grotesk. The notches are small and repeat, which means the face needs size to show them, and the condensation fits a long name across a shirt back. It needs roughly 26 mm for the notches to read, and it is best in electric lime or white on a dark jersey or one ink on a pale ground.

Heavy condensed kit lettering reads as performance equipment, which is what a sportswear brand prints on a box. The notches give the mark a machined edge at 44 mm, and the condensed stance fits a long club name on one carton edge.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Carton 60 x 140 x 30 mm, name 18 mm, size 5 pt, 8 mm margins. Kit print 280 x 120 mm, word 60 mm, 40 mm margins. Sign 900 x 400 mm, word 160 mm, 60 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 5 pt size line in a heavy condensed sans closes its counters and reads as a barcode. Keep fine print in a wider face at 6 pt, and check one assembled carton before the order.
Notched condensed caps read as a season preview, which is what a sports annual puts on a cover. The tall x-height packs a long club name plus a fixture into one line, and the flat fill survives a two-colour print on uncoated stock.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 210 x 297 mm, title 120 pt, cover lines 9/12 pt, 18 mm margins and 10 mm trim. Preview 420 x 297 mm, headline 120 mm, body 9/13 pt. Panel 600 x 300 mm, quote 100 mm, source 18 pt.
Pre-production check
A 120 pt condensed title on uncoated stock gains ink and the 1.5 mm notches fill, so the word reads as a plain block. Set the title at 100 pt or print coated, and check one cover before the run.
Court-side condensed caps read as a school side's own kit, which is what a PE department orders. The narrow stance fits a long school name across a shirt back at 70 mm, and the notches survive a heat transfer if they are wide enough.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Shirt back 300 x 100 mm, surname 70 mm, 30 mm from the collar seam. Bench sign 900 x 300 mm, word 140 mm, 50 mm margins. Certificate A4, header 24 mm, name 16 mm, body 9/12 pt.
Pre-production check
A heat transfer at 70 mm bridges the 1.5 mm waist notch and the letter fills into a block on a dark shirt. Keep notches at 2.5 mm on transfer artwork, and weed one name before the kit order.
