Season is a massive chamfered-shoulder condensed impact sans in caps, with flat sides cut at an angle where the stem meets the bar and very tight sidebearings, so a word reads as a stamped panel rather than as a headline. The chamfer is the design, which means the face needs size for the angled shoulders to read as machined, and the tight fit demands tracking when set long. It needs roughly 40 mm for the chamfers to hold, and it is best in white on a dark ground or a single flat colour on a pale one.
