Visual anatomy & craft review
Hello Mama is a tall brush calligraphy script with dramatic loops: a loaded brush stroke, very high ascenders that loop twice, a shallow slant and long descenders that drop below the baseline. The loops grow the word tall and the descenders close the line below, so a stacked layout needs extra leading. It needs roughly 26 mm for the double loop and the brush edge to read, and it is best in one deep ink on smooth card, or a foil impression above 38 pt where the loops still hold.

A dramatic looped script gives a spring celebration a hand-drawn title rather than a typeset one. The loops hold at 30 mm on a card, and one ink prints the card and the welcome sign in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, title 30 mm with 12 mm loop clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Welcome sign 600 x 400 mm, word 90 mm, 25 mm margins. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 25 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
On a 600 x 400 mm sign the descender drops past the printed area and gets trimmed. Keep the word inside a 25 mm margin with 12 mm extra below, and inspect one sign before hanging.
A brush script with tall loops reads as a written note rather than a printed acknowledgement. The brush edge holds at 22 mm, and one ink prints the card, the label and the tag in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 22 mm with 10 mm loop clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Jar label 70 x 45 mm, word 12 mm, 4 mm die margin. Market tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm with a 5 mm hole and 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 70 x 45 mm jar label at 12 mm closes the double loop into a solid blob and the word reads as a smear on wet-strength paper. Raise the label to 16 mm, and check one labelled jar before the batch.
A dramatic looped script signs a modern wedding invitation in a hand rather than a plate. The loops hold at 28 pt, and one ink on smooth card prints the invitation and the menu in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 14 mm loop clearance, details 9/13 pt, 15 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 12 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 12 pt on a place card the double loop fills and the name reads as one tall blob. Raise place cards to 16 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
