Visual anatomy & craft review
Amatic is a bouncy monoline cursive with long tails and connecting hearts: an even light stroke, joined letters, a soft bounce and tails that run under the word and link to the next with a small heart at the join. The hearts and the tails are the design and both close first at small sizes, and the long tails fix a block's width. It needs roughly 26 mm for the heart and the tail to read, and it is best in one warm ink on smooth card, or a pastel plus paper where the hearts print as knockouts.

A bouncy linking cursive gives an informal wedding a hand-linked invitation rather than a printed one. The hearts hold at 28 pt, and the tails connect two lines without a rule.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 12 mm tail clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 14 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 14 pt on a place card the heart join closes into a comma and the name reads as a typo. Raise place cards to 18 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
A heart-linked cursive carries the sentiment in the join rather than a printed motif. The hearts hold at 26 pt, and one warm ink prints the card, the seal and the band in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 26 pt with 10 mm tail clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Seal label 38 mm round, word 7 mm, 3 mm die margin. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm seal at 7 mm loses the heart entirely under wax. Use an initial only on the seal, and pour one seal before the batch.
A linking cursive reads as a written acknowledgement rather than a printed line. The tails hold at 22 mm, and one ink prints the card, the tag and the band in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 22 mm with 10 mm tail clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear. Wrap band 200 x 40 mm, word 14 mm, 6 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 200 x 40 mm band the tail crosses the fold and splits when wrapped. Keep the word 8 mm clear of the crease, and wrap one band before the order.
