Visual anatomy & craft review
Bubble Stitch is a fabric-appliqué bubble face with interior running stitches: fat rounded letters with a torn fabric edge, a dashed running stitch following the outline just inside the shape and a small thread knot at each corner. The stitches are the design and they merge into a solid line once the face is reduced. It needs roughly 30 mm for the stitch pitch to read, and it is best as a one-colour print on a textured stock, or a real appliqué where the stitch line becomes an actual sewn path.

An appliqué bubble reads as a sewn party banner rather than a printed card. The stitches hold at 44 mm on a topper, and one ink prints the invite and the labels as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 10 mm stitch clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Bag label 80 x 50 mm, word 14 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm topper cut along the stitch line leaves a 1 mm fringe that tears on the stick. Cut toppers to the outer silhouette, and test one before the party.
An appliqué face gives a December card the look of a hand-sewn ornament. The stitches hold at 26 mm, and one ink prints the card, the tags and the banner in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 105 x 148 mm, greeting 26 mm with 10 mm stitch clearance, message 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 25 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
A 50 x 90 mm tag at 20 mm closes the stitch pitch into a solid line and the word reads as a plain bubble. Raise the tag word to 26 mm, and print one tag before the batch.
An appliqué face reads as a sewn label rather than a printed logo, which is what a quilt maker wants on a tag. The stitches hold at 30 mm on a label, and one ink prints the label and the cards in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 90 x 60 mm, word 30 mm with 8 mm stitch clearance, 5 mm die margin. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 20 mm, 5 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, word 22 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 90 x 60 mm woven label at 30 mm closes the stitch pitch and the mark stitches as a solid bubble. Keep woven labels at 36 mm or above, and check one sample before the run.
