Visual anatomy & craft review
Bubble Riot is a dripping street-art throw-up bubble graffiti display: fat interlocking letters with a rounded throw-up silhouette, a thick keyline, heavy drips of different lengths running off the baseline and small spray spatter along the edges. The drips are the design and they merge with the keyline when the face is reduced. It needs roughly 32 mm for the drip and the keyline to read, and it is best as a one-colour vinyl cut, or a flat two-colour print on coated stock.

A dripping throw-up announces an urban birthday through the lettering alone. The drips hold at 44 mm on a topper, and two flat inks print the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 12 mm drip clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm vinyl topper cut at the drips leaves 1 mm tails that snap on the stick. Weld the drips to the outline, and test one before the party.
A throw-up display turns a street-culture page into its own wall. The drips hold at 44 pt on a coated page, and two flat inks keep the keyline crisp against a photographic ground.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Header 44 pt with 10 mm drip clearance, body 9/13 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins and a 12 mm head. Opener 36 pt with 10 mm of clear ground. Pull quote 32 pt with 8 mm above and 8 mm below the rule.
Pre-production check
At 32 pt on the pull quote the drips merge into the keyline and the quote reads as a solid block. Keep the face at 40 pt and above, and proof one spread at 1:1.
A throw-up display reads as a sprayed festival wall rather than a modern flyer. The drips hold at 150 mm on a poster, and two flat inks print the poster and the tote from one separation.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 150 mm with 15 mm drip clearance, details 44 mm, 20 mm margins. Stage banner 3000 x 800 mm, word 260 mm, 60 mm safe edge. Tote print 300 x 300 mm, word 70 mm, 25 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Screen printed on a tote at 70 mm the drips bridge and fill into solid tails after a wash. Use a 2 mm stencil bridge, and wash one sample before the order.
