Low wide monoline mixed case with rounded-square bowls and flat short shoulders
Broad Craft is a wide geometric sans in which the bowls are squared off and the joins are chamfered at an angle, so every letter looks milled from a single sheet rather than drawn with a pen.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Broad Craft sits across the middle of the card in white on a misty blue-grey ground, set in mixed case at a size that shows every cut. The bowls of the b, d, o and a are rectangles with chamfered corners, the r ends in a short diagonal, and the t has a flat bar that stops short of the stem, which gives the face a technical, almost lettering-machine character. Stroke width never changes, so the word depends on the cuts for its personality rather than on weight. A spaced small caps line below names the style claim and nothing else appears on the card. The face is wide, so a long word needs a wide measure, and the chamfers are large enough to read at moderate sizes, which makes it more practical than a hairline techno face. It suits product labels, studio identities and equipment signage.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Broad Craft’s stroke geometry.
The milled cuts suggest making and material without a picture of a tool, and the wide skeleton fills a maker's mark on a stamped or engraved plate.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 mm brand plate: set the workshop name at 16 pt on one row, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the town at 4.5 pt, and hold 5 mm from the widest letter to the plate edge.
Pre-production check
Chamfers fill in when engraved at small sizes; engrave one sample plate and inspect the cut corners before the set is ordered.
The technical cuts suit a workshop wall where a humanist face would look borrowed, and the flat terminals stay clean at the size of a door plate.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 200 by 80 mm door plate: set the room name at 26 pt on one row, keep 8 mm of clear ground beneath before the room number at 14 pt, and hold 7 mm of margin at each end of the plate.
Pre-production check
Door plates take knocks at the corners; print one on the intended material and check the chamfered edges before the batch.
The wide technical letterforms give a bottle a modern shelf look, and the flat cuts survive the small size of a neck label without a second element.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 by 90 mm neck label: set the product name at 18 pt on one row, keep 7 mm of clear ground beneath before the roast note at 4.5 pt, and hold 5 mm where the label wraps away at the ends.
Pre-production check
Condensation dulls matte labels on cold bottles; print one label, chill the bottle and check the type before the run.
