Fine slanted lowercase with long outer sweeps and a small x-height
Ideas is fine slanted lowercase script with a small x-height, tall narrow ascenders and long outer sweeps at both ends, so a single short word spreads across a wide measure.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The word begins with a long entry sweep that runs in from the left almost flat, then a short i with a high dot, a narrow d whose ascender rises twice the x-height, an e that closes tightly against the join, an a with a small bowl and a final s that exits into a long rising sweep on the right. Weight is fine and even, with a slight thickening on the downstrokes and nothing at all on the joins, which keeps the word light at any size. The ascenders are narrow and the descenders are absent, so the word reads as a shallow band of strokes across a wide space. Ends taper into points. The pink ground and the two tracked captions are presentation; the script is the word.

The long outer sweeps let a short word act as a rule across the top of a column, and the fine weight keeps the heading from dominating the page.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the heading at 48 pt across a 120 mm measure, keep the body in a 10 pt serif with 14 pt leading, and hold 16 mm below the heading so the descender-free band has air.
Pre-production check
A fine sweep under 0.1 mm disappears at 48 pt on cheap stock; print the page proof and thicken the sweeps within the lettering rather than shortening them.
A fine sweeping wordmark reads as a considered signature rather than a logo, and the wide outer sweeps let a short name fill a door plate without extra elements.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the name at 20 pt on a 120 by 40 mm door plate, keep the address in a 6 pt sans, and hold 15 mm of clearance so the outer sweeps are not cut by the plate edge.
Pre-production check
Etched plates need a minimum stroke; confirm the etcher's minimum line and open the thinnest join before the plate is produced.
The fine slanted script gives a printed card a light, modern voice, and the wide sweeps let a short thank-you fill a landscape card at a small point size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 22 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, keep the address in a 7 pt sans, and leave 18 mm at each end so both sweeps finish inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A wide sweep near the trim can look cut; check the proof at final size and inset the line by 5 mm before approving the run.
