Substantial serif with wavy upper bars and curled lower terminals
Bright Embers is a substantial serif in which the bowls stay broad, the stems hold firm, selected upper bars wave and the t and final s turn into low outward curves, so a two-row heading reads as warm editorial lettering.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The h and b send long wavy strokes above the x-height, the t curls outward at the foot, the s mirrors that curve at the end of a line and the bowls keep an even weight with moderate contrast. The wavy bars are the character: they lift a plain word without adding ornament, which is why the sample sets two rows between small numerals. Because the curves leave the letters, a layout needs 14 mm of clearance at both ends and 16 mm between rows from 26 pt. The white field and the numerals are presentation; the orange serif rows are the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Bright Embers’s stroke geometry.
The warm serif suits a printed menu, and the wavy bars give the heading movement at 34 pt above a plain list of courses. The list stays in a neutral face so the wavy bars lead.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 148 by 210 mm menu cover: set the heading at 34 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground above the course list, and set the courses at 11 pt in a neutral serif inside.
Pre-production check
A wavy bar printed close to a rule looks like a broken line; check the cover and keep 14 mm between the stroke and any divider.
The substantial serif gives a label warmth, and the even stems stay solid at 20 pt on a 55 mm round label. The curled terminal is the detail to check on a round die before printing.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 mm round label: set the studio name at 20 pt, keep 6 mm inside the die so the curled terminal stays whole, and set the scent in a 6 pt caps along the lower curve. Side the word to the die centre.
Pre-production check
A curve printed across a round edge distorts on the sticker; check the wrap and keep the word on the flat centre.
The curled terminals suit a warm note, and the broad bowls keep a short phrase readable at 30 pt on an A6 card in one ink. One ink keeps the fine joins from filling in.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A6 card: set the phrase at 30 pt across the middle, keep 14 mm at each end for the outward curves, and leave the lower half blank for a written message. Score the fold clear of the type.
Pre-production check
Writing over a printed curve smudges the ink; check the card and keep the blank band clear of every terminal. Leave 20 mm of white below the last curve.
