Fine slanted calligraphy with a wide open S and long low descenders
Stylish is a fine slanted calligraphy in which the S opens very wide, the l and h lift tall loops, the connectors run thin and the y drops a long low stroke, so a short phrase reads as modern pointed-pen writing.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The S sweeps a broad open curve, the l and h raise narrow loops, the joins thin before they thicken on the downstroke and the y finishes in a stroke that travels well below the baseline on a gently changing slant. The open S is the character: it gives the first word a wide entry, which is why the sample sets a phrase with a plain light ground. Because the descenders are long, a layout needs 20 mm under the line from 26 pt and the joins must be welded before cutting from 1.1 inches of x-height; swashes are encoded. The pale ground and the small caption are presentation; the dark calligraphic phrase is the face.

The open S and long descender give a name flow, and the fine joins keep a double name readable at 26 pt on heavy cream card stock.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm card: set the names at 26 pt across the middle, keep 20 mm beneath for the descender, and set the date at 9 pt in a neutral serif in the lower third.
Pre-production check
A long y stroke printed into a date line collides with it; check the proof and keep 16 mm of clear ground.
The fine script gives a label its elegance, and the open forms stay clear at 18 pt on a 40 mm panel printed in one flat ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 40 by 65 mm label: set the atelier name at 18 pt, keep 6 mm from each die edge so the entry stroke stays whole, and set the city in a 6 pt caps at the foot.
Pre-production check
A fine script at 14 pt closes its thin joins; check the plate proof and keep the name at 16 pt or above.
The pointed-pen flow suits a note card, and the light body keeps a short phrase personal at 30 pt on a folded cream sheet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm folded card: set the phrase at 30 pt near the head, keep the fold 55 mm below the baseline, and leave the lower half blank for writing.
Pre-production check
A fold scored through a descender cracks the print; check the imposed card and keep 10 mm between score and stroke.
