Baseball Grunge is a collegiate slab family with a distressed inline: a heavy block letter, a fine border rule just inside the contour, and a worn surface that chips the inline at random points along the stems. The inline needs room on both sides of the rule, and the grimed edge is drawn rather than applied, so a one-colour print keeps the wear. It needs roughly 32 mm for the inline rule and the chips to read, and it is best in one dark ink on heather grey or cream, or a two-colour build where the inline is knocked out.
