Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
A tubular rounded block display shown under a monochrome street character leaping over stars: the white letters carry a heavy black extruded side face and vertical drip highlights, so the word reads as painted street lettering with real depth rather than as an outline with a shadow. The counters are wide rectangles, which is what keeps a short name unmistakable at a distance, while the rounded corners stop the face from looking like a sports stencil. The extrusion is drawn rather than applied as an effect, so it repeats consistently on every glyph. The character and stars behind are staging. Uses are youth sport, skate and street-brand work.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Floxy’s stroke geometry.
Stout tubular blocks bridge the toughness of a jersey face and the playfulness of street art, so a youth flag-football hoodie reads as club kit rather than as a school order, and the extruded face gives the chest print depth without a second colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: one four-to-six letter name at 72 to 130 pt in white with the black extrusion, the year at 24 mm beneath, and place the block 80 mm below the collar with 4 mm of gap between the two elements.
Pre-production check
Best for DTF, print-then-cut stickers and posters; the solid main blocks cut cleanly on 1.5 inch and larger HTV. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the extrusion stays registered after five cycles.
The wide rectangular counters keep a short name bold and unmistakable on a small card, and the drip highlights give the invitation the hand-painted energy of a skate-shop poster instead of the usual birthday template look.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 30 pt, the details in a 10 pt sans, and the date at 9 pt. Keep 15 mm margins, scatter two or three small star or drop marks in the outer margins, and leave 12 mm at the foot for the address.
Pre-production check
Keep -4 tracking so the extruded side face merges into one solid backing rather than splitting into slivers. Check the card at home-print resolution, where a drip highlight can close into the stem.
A sticker is where this construction earns its keep: the heavy block and the black extrusion survive a small die where a fine display face would turn into a smudge, and the drip detail still reads as paint at twenty millimetres.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 60 mm die-cut sticker: the camp name at 22 mm cap height, the year at 7 mm, one ink set on white vinyl, and a 3 mm bleed. Keep 4 mm inside the die and keep the smallest drip above 1 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the die-cut at 22 mm, where the drip tips can tear on weeding; widen them. Confirm the sticker peels cleanly and that the extrusion survives a wet, outdoor surface.
