Layered varsity block with stacked offset copies
Stacked Jersey is a varsity block display shown as a stack of offset copies: a heavy squared-off cap set repeated behind itself at rising offsets, plus a matching outline cut of the same letterforms that turns the word into texture.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The top word is a heavy athletic block with squared shoulders, a wedge serif on the I and a slit in the A, and beneath it the same letterforms repeat four times at decreasing weight and rising offsets, so the page reads as a print of one face used as its own image. A second word runs in the outline cut, where the skeleton stays identical but the fill drops out, which shows the face is a small family rather than a single style and can be layered without redrawing. The ground is a floodlit stadium at dusk, dark enough that white type carries at the top and the stacked copies sink into the image, and the supporting lines are tracked capitals separated by a pipe. Everything about the sample points at a jersey front or a stadium banner, and at the honest technique that makes the effect work, which is printing the same word several times at measured offsets instead of faking a shadow.

A block varsity face is the expected register for a team name, and using the outline cut with the filled one lets a garment printer build depth from the same artwork twice.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the team name at 90 mm cap height across a 300 mm chest width, arched by 4 mm at the centre, with the number in the same face at 140 mm below. Print the outline cut in white first, then the filled cut in the team colour offset by 2 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the arch at full size so the outer letters do not tilt away from the shoulder seam, and confirm the 2 mm offset is registerable on the garment press. Read the name from fifteen metres to make sure the outline does not merge with the fill.
Layered athletic block reads as sportswear heritage, and repeating the same word at falling opacity makes a graphic of the typeface without adding a second asset.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
On a 350 mm back print, set the word at 60 mm and repeat it four times at 6 mm steps in 100, 60, 35 and 18 percent white, then finish the label line in 8 mm tracked caps below. Anchor the stack to the hem line so the offsets stay even.
Pre-production check
Check the screen separations: four opacities on a dark garment mean halftone dots, so confirm the smallest step does not fall below a 10 percent tint at the printer's mesh. Read the top copy at three metres and verify the stack does not look like a misprint.
An athletic block sets the theme in two words, and layering the outline cut behind the solid one gives a home-printed banner depth without a second typeface.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A3 landscape: the phrase at 70 mm on a dark ground, the outline copy offset 4 mm behind in a lighter tint, and the details in a plain sans at 12 mm along the bottom. Keep 25 mm margins so the offsets never reach the edge.
Pre-production check
Check the borderless print on a home inkjet, where a 4 mm white offset on white disappears; substitute a mid tint for the outline in that case. Confirm the A3 file scales to A4 without losing the 12 mm details.
