Letterform structure
of Rustic Handwriting.
The two words are stacked and the drawing is everyday handwriting scaled up: the strokes are even and slightly heavy, the ascenders are tall and the joins are not connected, which keeps the phrase readable at any size. Small curls on a few letters and drifting heights give the pair its written quality, and the open counters mean the face holds on a small label. Because the stroke is even and moderately heavy, the face works at banner size as well as at sticker size, which is unusual for a handwriting face. The ground is a pale photograph of a feather, and the star sparkles at the sides plus a tracked caption beneath finish the plate without adding a second voice.
