Pastel starred block display
Rock Star is a pastel block display on a pink ground: fat outlined capitals in four pastel colours with white star counters and a white keyline, a scalloped badge under them holding a second word, and a corner badge that names the count of styles.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate sets two words in two devices: the first in fat rounded blocks that overlap slightly, the second in a row of scalloped badges, which shows how far the set can be pushed before it stops being type. The drawing is a pastel block with a star cut into the counter and a white keyline, so the word reads as a sticker sheet, and the pastel palette is deliberately soft. That construction sets a large size floor, because the stars close when the blocks shrink. The corner badge and the line beneath are product copy that name the styles and the formats. Because the letters are fat and decorated, the face suits a party card, a shirt and a sign for a young audience, and the plate is honest about that by showing two short words only.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Rock Star’s stroke geometry.
A pastel block face sets a child's party, and the star counters give the card its theme without an illustration. One purchase covers a whole party table.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 28 pt, the details in a 10 pt sans, and the date at 9 pt. Keep 15 mm margins and print four colours on a white card. Leave 14 mm at the foot for the address line.
Pre-production check
Check the 28 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where a star can close; keep it above 2 mm. Confirm the 10 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the card folds flat.
A sticker-like display prints as a costume piece, and the keyline keeps the blocks separate on a coloured shirt. A costume shirt sells on the star counters.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 240 mm chest graphic: the name at 55 mm cap height, the age at 26 mm, and four inks on a light shirt. Keep the star counters above 4 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 4 mm star can fill; enlarge it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the keyline stays closed after five cycles.
A pastel block display suits a school show, and the badges carry a second word without a second face. A show poster can be loud without a photograph.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A3 poster: the show at 70 mm cap height, the times in a 20 mm sans, and the hall at 12 mm. Keep 25 mm margins and print four colours on a light stock.
Pre-production check
Check the A3 at three metres, where the pastels can wash out; keep the keyline above 2 mm. Confirm the 12 mm hall reads at two metres and that the poster sits at child height.
