Rounded heavy capitals topped by resting cat drawings with paw-shaped counters
Cat Purr is a colour font that draws fat rounded letters in warm browns and golds, sets a white paw print in most counters, and rests a drawn cat on top of nearly every letter.

Visual anatomy & craft review
CAT over PURR fills the card on a pale ground patterned with faint paw prints, and each letter is a different warm tone with a soft edge and a paw print cut out of its counter. On top of the letters, cats sleep and stretch: one is curled at the top of the C, one sprawls across the A, one lies along the bar of the T, and the second row has four more in different poses. The drawing of the letters is simple and heavy, with wide bowls and short stems, so the cats read as a separate layer rather than as part of the glyph. A small caption at the top introduces the face and one at the foot names it. The result is a decorative colour face for pet shops, catteries, birthday invitations and labels, and because the cats sit above the cap height, the layout needs more space at the top than a normal heading would.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Cat Purr’s stroke geometry.
The cats carry the theme in one element, and the warm palette keeps the card from looking like a generic children's design with a clip art animal added.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 170 mm invitation: set the greeting at 40 pt across two rows, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 8 pt, and hold 14 mm of margin so no cat tail is cut.
Pre-production check
Cats above the cap height need extra room; print one card at the finished size and check the top margin before the batch.
The lettering says what the shop is before a customer reads the name, and the warm browns suit an interior lit with lamps.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 300 mm sign: set the café name at 90 pt on one row, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the hours at 12 pt, and hold 30 mm of border so the cats on the letters stay whole.
Pre-production check
Warm browns look muddy on cheap banner stock; print one sign on the intended material and compare the gold before the order.
The cats give a worksheet something to look at while the heading explains the task, and the heavy letters stay readable on a photocopy.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 worksheet: set the header at 36 pt on one row, keep 14 mm of clear ground beneath before the first question at 11 pt, and hold 16 mm of margin at both sides of the sheet.
Pre-production check
Photocopiers drop the paw prints in the counters; copy one sheet on the school machine and check the letters are distinct.
