Very condensed collegiate slabs with tall stems and flat feet
Mascot College is a very condensed collegiate slab in which the stems run tall, the slabs are flat and thin and the counters close to slits, so a long name fits one line on a narrow format.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The M splays from a narrow vertex, the A carries a low crossbar, the S reverses through tight curves and the O closes an oval counter, all at a heavy weight with thinner slabs than a standard collegiate face. That thinness is the character: the feet read as cuts rather than blocks, which keeps the face from filling the counters at 40 mm on a garment. The extreme condensation is what makes it practical for long team names on a jersey, where a wider face would wrap. Because the counters are narrow, the practical floor is 30 pt on print. The white ground, the dark red ink, the small caption are presentation; the slab face is the two words.

The extreme condensation holds a long club name on one line at 55 mm, which is the case where a normal collegiate face starts wrapping.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Screen a 300 mm front print: set the club name at 55 mm on one line, keep the thin slabs at 2.5 mm minimum, and stay 45 mm below the collar so the print clears the shoulder seam allowance.
Pre-production check
Thin slabs under 2 mm close on fleece; check a pull on the actual garment and widen the feet rather than the stems.
The condensed blocks fit a long society name into a narrow banner, and the tall stems read at 15 cm from across a sports hall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1.5 by 0.4 m banner: set the society name at 15 cm on one line, set the year in a 4 cm slab below, and keep 10 cm of clear banner at each end so the eyelets fall on blank ground.
Pre-production check
Eyelets punched through a condensed letter leave a hole in a narrow stem; check the banner layout against the eyelet positions before printing.
The condensed slabs fit a long locker label at 12 pt, and the tall stems keep it readable at arm's length in a changing room.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 40 mm plate: set the team name at 12 pt, set the number in an 18 pt slab at the right, and keep 8 mm of margin so the fixing holes miss the letters and the thin feet.
Pre-production check
A fixing screw through a condensed stem splits the plate; check the drill plan against the artwork before mounting.
