Condensed athletic capitals with clipped corners and slab feet
Collegiate shows narrow block capitals with heavy upright strokes, broad slab feet and clipped outer corners: the main title carries a white outline and a black offset shadow, with smaller alphabet, numeral and punctuation samples printed beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The stems stay heavy, the feet square into slabs, the outer corners clip and the outline plus offset shadow build a second boundary around each letter. The condensed block is the character: the word compresses into a tall panel that reads as a stitched patch, which is why the sample stacks a full alphabet below the title. Because the bowls are narrow, keep 30 pt before the counters hold, and build any outline or shadow in the layout rather than expecting it from the file.

The condensed blocks suit a team shirt, and the narrow counters keep a club name solid at 85 mm across a printed chest in two inks. The offset shadow also keeps the blocks separate on a dark shirt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm chest print: set the name at 85 mm in capitals, keep 18 mm between the outline and the offset shadow, and keep 45 mm of clear shirt beneath for the number. Keep the player number off the outlined row.
Pre-production check
An offset shadow thinner than 3 mm looks like a printing misregistration; check the film and set the offset deliberately at 4 mm.
The athletic panels read from a sideline, and the clipped corners give a league name its structure at 55 mm on a printed banner. The clipped corners give the banner its shape.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1200 by 600 mm banner: set the name at 55 mm, keep 30 mm from the welded edge on every side, and set the league year in a 16 mm condensed caps on a straight lower row.
Pre-production check
A condensed row printed at 34 mm closes its counters; check the banner proof and keep the name at 48 mm or above.
The outlined caps give a club label weight, and the slab feet stay solid at 22 pt on a 55 mm panel in two colours. The narrow bowls keep a small panel dense.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 40 mm label: set the club name at 22 pt, keep the outline at 1 mm and the offset at 1 mm, and set the division in a 6 pt caps with 3 mm of clear ground. Keep the outline single-weight on small panels.
Pre-production check
An outline and an offset on a small panel merge into a blur; check the proof and keep only one of the two effects below 30 mm.
