Rough outline collegiate display
Loved Outline is a rough collegiate outline in red on white: heavy caps drawn as a double contour with no fill, worn edges, block serifs and a small inner echo, with tracked caps above and below and a fine credit line at the foot.

Fine grain and micro-texture excel in 300 DPI print, sublimation, and screen print rather than small vinyl weeding.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the drawing is an outline cut of a college slab: the outer contour carries the weight, the inner line follows it at a fixed distance, and every edge is distressed so the shape reads as printed rather than plotted. That construction makes the face a display cut, since an outline loses legibility below a certain size. The plate sets the pair large enough that the wear is visible, and the tracked lines above and below are set in a light caps face so the display remains dominant. Because the letters are hollow, the face works over a photograph or on a shirt where a solid block would be too heavy, and the rough edge gives the print a worn look without an effect applied afterwards.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Loved Outline’s stroke geometry.
An outline collegiate face reads as a worn pennant, and the hollow letters let a background colour show through where a solid block would flatten the design.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print 1,300 by 500 mm: the event at 160 mm cap height, the teams in a 30 mm sans, and a 5 mm inner line. Keep 30 mm margins and print two colours on a light vinyl.
Pre-production check
Check the banner at eight metres, where a 5 mm contour can vanish; keep it above 7 mm. Confirm the 30 mm teams read at four metres and that the edges survive a grommet punch.
A rough outline prints as one screen and looks worn from the start, which suits a casual celebration better than a clean varsity block.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the slogan at 60 mm cap height, the year at 40 mm, and one ink on a light shirt. Keep the contour at 4 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 4 mm contour can close; thicken it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the outline stays even after five cycles.
An outline display reads as a sticker on a shop window, and the hollow letters let the board colour do the work without a second ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut 600 by 300 mm vinyl: the shop name at 110 mm cap height, the hours in a 20 mm sans, and a 4 mm contour. Keep 20 mm margins and apply to a clean pane.
Pre-production check
Check the cut at 600 mm, where a thin contour can tear on weeding; keep it above 5 mm. Confirm the 20 mm hours read at two metres and that the letters pass squeegee without bubbles.
